I was learning to give the reason of a character.  Now I know that you need to look for clues in the book like stuff they say or do.  It was tricky because it was hard to find the clues.

I was learning to tell the time.  Now I know that if the long hand is on the 3 it is quarter past and if it is on the 9 is it quarter to. It was easy because I was sensible, I observed and I used my 5 time tables.

I was learning about rounding and compensating using the number line. Now I know how to round and compensate to subtract. It was tricky because it was confusing rounding and compensating using the number line because it was hard to keep track of all the changes.
