Reflection:
We were learning about spreadsheets and to identify columns, rows and cells. I found it easy because i have usen spreadsheets before. Next time i want to learn how to use some of the commands you can use in a spreadsheets.

Welcome Post
Walt: make a welcome blog entry
My name is Aarav and I am in Rm23 which is a year 6 class upstairs.
This year my teacher is Mr Park and so far he has been really nice.
I love doing math and am also really confident about it.
The thing I'm most excited about is has to be camp since my brother said it was one of the best things he had ever experienced!
Lastly, I want to improve on my grammer and writing this year.

My Holidays
In the last week of the holidays while we were relaxing in bed we got an invatation to my mum's friend's anniversary! At first I was sad because anniversary parties are never fun but this time we were going to Pahia! My Mum, Dad, brother, and I went on a four hour drive to Pahia while they were probably in the pool waiting for us. I was extremely excited but also curious how we were going to start this adventure.
After that actually quite ralexing trip we got inside our fabulouse resort. It had a bed that was kind of underneath a balcony which was cool, mini waterfalls outside our room which was awesome, and finally a pool and spa. As soon as I saw the pools I instantly wantedd to go in so I asked my Mum, got changed and cannon balled into the pool. I kind of regret cannon balling into the pool because it was freezing. After I came out of those ice cold pools I knew this trip was going to go well but I was still curious how this is going to continue.
When we had got relaxed and comfortable with our resort we called my Mum's friend over. Quickly before they came we got some food from a resturaunt close by. It was decorated really well because it was Chinese New Year! It had lots of lanterns which was nice because it was dark and they were all different colours. After we got our food we rushed back because we realised we were a little late and they were probably waiting for us. When we got back they were waiting for us just as we thought. We got inside our room and whatever they were talking about was probably really boring because I slept straight away but I geuss it could also be because it was really late. The next day we signed out of our resort, got our stuff and looked for some activities around us. We saw a beach and went straight to it. My Mum and brother went to the beach while my Dad and I went cycling on the road. At first I was a little scared because the cars were really fast but eventually it just got fun. We rode around the market like ten times! It was really really fun. This one time it got scary because my bike got stuck in something but luckily came out just in time. I was a little sad because I got sick and couldn't go swimming but it was fun riding the bike.
Lastly we went to my Mum's friend's hotel it was also really nice but I liked ours better. Over there my friend, brother and I played tennis well tried to but my friend's brother kept annoying us. After like what felt like half an hour we actually got to play because he got bored. We did a few rounds when it was me versus my brother and him but he got bored too. So my brother and I versed each other. It was really fun but at first it was annoying fetching the ball all the time. Overall it was an amazing holiday.

I was learning to write a recount while following the succsess criteria.
It was challenging sometimes to find good vocabulary but overall it was fun.
Next time I want to learn other types of writing.

Reflection:
I was learning to interperet bar graphs. To do this I had to understand what the graph was about. I found this easy because I could easily understand the graph.

My name is Aarav and I’m from Elm Park School. I am writing to you to say thank you for the amazing trip you arranged for us.
My favourite part of the trip was skipping rocks at the beach and it really surprised me to see penguins. I also enjoyed the ferry ride and I also learnt a lot about nature.
The trip taught me about trees, plants, habitats, birds, and animals all native to New Zealand. I will definitely visit again with my family.
